Hey memorial weekend is fast approaching. with the new reservation system for the state parks you got to get in early! we reserved 2 spots in A loop, same loop as last year, same spots as 2 years ago, 49 and 50. If anyone is going to camp with us hurry up and resereve a spot! Joseph Stewart State Park is the name. Go to reserveamerica.com to make your reservation. we did reserve for the most people and rigs that we could in both spots for those that want to sleep in tents or just come up for the day.

Hey everyone. Rod and I will be coming down this Sunday and on Monday we are heading over to Grants Pass to cut down some trees and get the house cleaned up for the next renters. If anyone can help out let us know. Whatever we don't finish on Monday we will get to on Friday when we go back with Dad.

Matt - did you still want that pine tree taken down? Rod will have his climbing gear so let us know whenever.

Ok, so there was some back and forth going on with what we are doing about the gift exchange, and not everyone was in the loop on what we had tentatively decided. Here is the final on it - we are doing a white elephant exchange, but we will be doing it per family, with a $25 limit. The kids won't be having a seperate exchange, and neither will the adults. All the family per present, so keep that in mind when you get the gift. Good ideas would be games, a "movie night" basket, dvd's - be creative! No gift cards, that is kind of coppin out! We will exchange them as usual at Dad and Mom's Christmas morning. Mom and Dad will be included in this white elephant as well so that they (mom) won't go overboard as usual on the gifts!! But, feel free to get them their own gifts from yourselves, Jan has a very good idea, ask her about what she will be doing for them if you need an idea.

Hello everyone! So we are blessing Lex next weekend, I believe it's on the 3rd - in Medford 8th ward, which starts at 11am at the medford stake center. I want to do a potluck at Mom and Dad's afterward,(late lunch, early dinner) so I'm thinking of picking up some lasagnas and having salad and carbs too (yummy! my 6 week checkup is after that, then I really start working out!) Finally, thanks to Jani, I am an official contributor of the Stone Family Blog! Perhaps I may assist to shed some light on the subject of "family activities", thus providing info to all who take the time to read the blog.,. It seems as if the phone is sufficient when people will answer, or listen to their messages (when the phone accepts them, 'cause there have been times when my phone has not, 'couse my answer tape says things like, "mailbox is full", then no one can say anything about anything or anybody, 'cuz my stupid phone won't let them.) Because my stupid phone records every single stupid phone call that everybody in the world ever made to me, it fills up quickly, and so it ties my stupid phone all up. So, I have to remember to delete everything every other day or so or my stupid phone is always being stuck, not letting people through to talk to me or leave a stupid message. Whatever. I want a stupid maid & a stupid secretary , just to help me a bit with the housework and the stupid phone. There. WHEW!

So after some discussion at Ella's B-day about the unbirthday, we came up with a few ideas.
We were thinking Friday February 8th at Ron and Jill's. But then it occurred to me that Tiff and Rod may not be able to get home by then, so I need to hear from you guys about that. Can you get off early? Lets talk.

Lastly, price. This is a democracy. I want some input on your ideas for gift price limits. Those of us that were planning this tossed around $40 per person. I get the vibe that not everyone is ok with that. So please let me know. Post it on the blog or give me a call. We want this to be fun and not a burden for anyone. It would be nice to have an actual family tradition which we Stone's have very few of. The idea for this thing was to avoid getting killed financially at every birthday and saving some money. But I think a birthday should be fun and make you feel special. And sometimes a nice gift will do that. I won't lie, I like getting presents, it's fun. Especially when they come from the heart and nice always doesn't mean $$$. So speak up let's hear what you think.

Nate's birthday

So it seems totally weird that 4 years ago I was spending the night in the hospital after having a baby but alas it is true. It is amazing that 4 years have gone by and that I have had 2 more kids since then. WOW! This year Nate's birthday snuck up on me, not unlike all the other events that I have had planned this past couple of weeks. I meant to call everyone and set something up for this weekend but it obviously didn't happen. So we will celebrate Nate's birthday next sunday, December 9th at 4 pm at my house. Hey guys, we've been busy this week getting stuff moved over to the new house and have quite a bit of it done. Besides a few heavy things that Ron needs help with there is not much we need, so if you have better things to do (which I'm sure you do) don't worry about us. I'm just going to lock myself in the house and organize and clean all weekend. But if you are in the neighborhood and want to come see it that is cool too, just call me first in case I am at my second home, Super Wal-Mart getting some house essentials!

Also the At Home America Party is Saturday the 17th at 6:30. Be there or be square. Bring a friend if you want, also. No one in this family is getting an invitation in the mail except Karen because when I was looking for your addresses online no one was on there!! So here is your formal invitation. And it won't just be the At Home Party, we can hang out afterward too like a girls night. Heaven knows I need one right about now. Halloween and At Home America Party

So here is Bayley in a costume my mom made for Becky back in the day, I was the blue crayon but it was a little too big this year.

Also the At Home America party I will be throwing is on the 17th, it's a Saturday. I'm going to do it in the evening and probably will ship Bayley off to Grandma's so if any of you can escape from your homes let me know. I'll have more details soon. We will possibly be moving starting tomorrow night, I'm hoping we won't have much left by the weekend so any help would be appreciated if you can, if not I understand. Everyone has a lot going on right now. Just remember to take off your shoes or I may have a mental breakdown, if you saw how much mud one of the inspectors tracked in the other day, you would know where I'm coming from. Hey girls I wanted to let you know I am going to host an At Home America party at my house hopefully on the 17th of November, if it's done and we are moved in and everything. I just went to one of those parties for the first time last weekend and was really impressed with the cute stuff. It's mostly home decorating type stuff. It's not overdone like the candlelight parties so I decided I would do one. I thought it might be good for Christmas presents and stuff like that. I just need to know if you think you might be able to make it and what time works best. I thought maybe it could kind of be a girls night. Maybe we could have it in the evening but meet up in the late afternoon and do dinner first, or just hang out, play games, stuff like that. Let me know if it works for any of you. I'm going to e-mail some other people as well and try to get a lot to come because, well, I get free stuff if I get a lot of people to come and they buy things and I'm desperate for decorations for the new house. OK, it's a little blasphemous to say but we have to bloom where we are planted and Ms. Addy thought it was spring. Though she may never perform her routine for the family, she had no problem going for it in front of hundreds of screaming fans on Friday. She worked really hard and I thought for sure she would change her mind but she never hesitated. I think it was the short skirt that really did it for her. Whatever it was, she had a great time and we loved watching her. Go Addy!!

I have finally stopped dragging my feet and made the appointment for us to get Alyssa sealed to us. It will be October 27th and 9:45 am. All who wish to attend may do so. We would love for all of you to be there. I am sorry it took me so long to make arraingments for it. Between having Jenna, me going back to work so soon, and her belly button problem I just put it on the back burner. Of course this all depends on if we get the ammended birth certificate in time. We're stuck on our house right now. Our electrical passed so they went ahead with the insulation, but our electrician forgot to sign the permit. Well, they went to inspect the insulation and are saying that they can't prove we passed our electrical. And, go figure, the inspector is on vacation until Monday. They think they got everything fixed now so they called for inspection again for tomorrow, but we might fail again. GRRRRR!!! So, for now, we are putting the painting on hold and will let everyone know when we'll be ready. And then we'll change the date again later :)

I had my first OB appointment today and it went well. Only one baby and a strong heartbeat and a couple pictures. My due date is unofficially the 4th of March but Dr. said he'll have a more accurate reading with the big ultrasound on the 16th of October. It was a relief to see the baby and hear the heartbeat, I can relax a little now!

On another note, Bayley's birthday is coming up and since it's on a Wednesday (the 19th) we'll probably have it on the 22nd. Ya, I know you stopped reading when you saw the title, LOL! Anyway, I'm making progress with the classroom but still have some things to get done, anyone that is just looking for something to do on Saturday or Monday, I will be here in room 1 at Jewett and would love to have a little help, it might take me several minutes to figure out what I want you to do but I would be grateful for any help. I had a little meltdown today but I think it helped, I got re-focused and am on a roll now, well not really, I'm at work right now and I'm posting on the family blog, but I swear I'm getting to work after this! I have a beanbag to stuff, and little things to cut out that is taking away from me planning the first week of school which is something I REALLY need to get on right away. So I'm rambling now and I totally understand if you have better things to do, just thought I would send this out and see what happens. Even if you want to pop in and just visit with me that would be great, it gets lonely when all the other "organized" teachers leave and I'm here with my mess. Oh and if you come tomorrow I have a couple Relief Society posters I signed up to make for the Sept. 20th Enrichment night and after I signed up we realized they needed to be done by this Sunday :( So that is something else I'm stressing about so come on over if you want to color. Alright this is sounding really desperate. Enjoy your last weekend of summer, hopefully I'll see you all before Thanksgiving Break!

Painting update

So I just checked our schedule and they have us down to start painting 9/26 - 10/4. We've haven't had much going on with the house lately. They're trying to get everything finished up so we can have our electrical inspection. It's taking a little bit longer than we hoped :( I don't know if this will work for everyone so just let me know.

We weren't sure if we were going to be able to paint or not but they roofer and electrician got done today and we are clear to paint. We're Back!!

We are home from our vacation to Utah. It was so nice to be able to visit with my family and to let the kids get to know their family there a bit more. We are glad to be back in our own home and with our own beds. We drove for 15 hours on saturday in order to sleep in our own beds once again. I think that Aidan was especially happy. I could tell he was pretty worn out because he took a five hour nap on sunday. He was much happier after that.

Just to let you know that Alyssa fell from the zip line that my brother had rigged up and she may have fractured her arm. She got x-ray's done today and I am waiting for the doctor to call me back with the results. Her nose got pretty banged up at well but she sure toughed it out. She had a good time on it the first 3 times but after she fell she didn't like it so much.

Also Jenna is going to have to see either a urologist or a general surgury doctor. Her naval is having some discharge problems. It has never healed up properly. They tried some silver nitrate a couple of weeks ago but that didn't help so we will see if her bellybutton is connected to her bladder--interesting!--so I am just waiting for them to call me as well. I will keep you all posted and I can't wait to see all of you. It seems like it has been forever.

We finally got the sellers to agree to a price and they finally signed the papers. Their realtor faxed the paperwork to their mortgage holders and so hopefully we'll be able to get a green light from them and proceed with all the necessary inspections and tests. We are hoping to get an answer by the end of the week so we wont have to move everything twice! We will let everybody know as soon as we know more!!

INSPECTION IS DONE!

Well we had our inspection done on Fri and while the inspector was here I was able to fix a few of the things he pointed out right then. Sat morn we got the requests from the buyer on things to fix so we fixed a few of the things (to be nice) and left the remainder for them. We got verbal confirmation that the buyer was fine with what we left so we should be good on the sale going through! So we've mapped out the "camping" arrangements with mom and dad and are planning on moving from the 5th till the 7th. Amanda is going to start boxing up a few things this week so we wont have to work all hours of the night to get out by the 7th at 5pm. talk to ya later!

yep that's right we accepted an offer and signed last night. We are ending up at 216K which is about 4K less than we really wanted to but in the interest of not getting any other activity and wanting to be in a new place by the end of summer we decided to take it. So now we just have to have the inspection, appraisal, and title stuff which we think should be no problem. So keep your eyes open cause we really don't want to be in mom and dads driveway with the trailer for to long!!
