Duling homestead update

We're finally going to sign papers on our loan!! We go in tomorrow at 1:30. We're just barely making our deadline with Adaptive... grr. Anyways... now we will finally be able to submit everything to the city and we're estimating that at about 6 weeks for approval. We haven't been able to sell the mobile yet, but we have a little bit of time left.

We'll see everyone this weekend!!

I just want to say a big big big Thank You to everyone that helped on Saturday. We made SO much progress. We wouldn't be a quarter of the way done without everyone's help. I'm working on a home building blog but i still need to find the cord for my camera. I have a vague idea of where it is but now I have to find it in all the boxes. So again thank you, we'll be doing this every weekend probably for the next few months so if you ever have a Saturday and you just don't have anything to do (are you sensing the sarcasm here?) come on up and we'll put you to work. Fun at the Trailer

So to answer Jan's question there will be digging going on this weekend at my house. Matt and Dave and Dad said they would help so that's why Amanda said she would see some of us. Anyone can come up if they want. Just hanging out in the trailer and playing around. Don't be too offended by the boxes still laying around, it's been another crazy week. Ok I need to go I'm posting during school hours and the kids are putting Gak in their armpits!!!

I'm back too!

OK so like I said last night I am finally done with my classroom training for my job. I'm still questioning my sanity when I think about going back to work. But then I remember it's just part time and won't be like the last two weeks all the time. I can see that Matt and Amanda have been busy posting. Good for you! I guess I didn't ask this last night at Summer's party but what is going on at Ron & Jill's this weekend? Someone let me know. Just wanted to say hi. Talk to you all again soon!

Living in the Dark Ages

So we love the new property, in fact even the trailer is getting cozy now that our stuff is mostly unpacked. The pot catching the rain water dripping into the house doesn't even really bother me. HOWEVER, I do not have internet yet *gasp* and although I am getting a lot done I feel cut off from the outside world. Anyway I'm calling my one last hope right now to see if I can get internet up there and if not then I guess I will be one of those internet cafe people. Hahaha. So hopefully I will be back to update the blog and blackmail the family soon. I'm also going to start a house building blog so people that don't live around here can see the progress. I was having Stone, Like a Rock withdrawals so I just wanted to post and let you all know what was going on. I'm sure the peace and quiet was nice for some of you but don't get used to it, I'll be back.

We're back!!

Amanda and I are slowly getting back into regular life so here we are again posting on the fam blog. Thanks for all your help with everything - the receptions, pics, the girls (especially with Summer's melt down) and just everything. It was much appreciated. We will get a family pic for everybody once we get the proofs from Keri Blue. In other news, we are really close to closing the deal on the Gibbon Rd. house and hope to have the details done wihtin the next week. We aren't sure yet on how exactly we will do the move. We know that we are going to be paiting and doing the new carpet before we move in but havent decided if we should do the addition before or after we move in. I guess the biggest factor is when we sell this house!!! We will keep you informed. Talk to ya later!

I'm a loser

So, we signed papers yesterday for the property (YAY!!) and we will probably be moving a little bit this weekend. Not anything anyone has to help with we'll call you for that next weekend ;) but we will probably just hang out with my parents a little bit on Sunday and then do some moving so we will probably not be doing Easter. I know I'm a loser but we just have to get things rolling with our property. Easter Dinner

Just wondering...

I was wondering what the plan for Easter was. I am not sure that anyone has had a chance to think about it with the wedding going on but we should do a dinner or something if everyone is feeling up to it. What do you guys think???
